Pre-Planned Procedure or Surgery
If your procedure or surgery is scheduled in advance, please report to South County Hospital’s front desk at the date and time you are scheduled. One of our representatives will guide you to the pre-surgical waiting room. There you will:
- Complete your admission paperwork
- Safely check your belongings
Things to Remember:
- Bring a list of your current medications
- You may have laboratory work done during admission
- Please note that although you will have a scheduled time for your surgery, emergencies or other issues could cause that time to change
Once admitted, the nurse will bring you to the clinical area to begin care. Guests are welcome to stay in the waiting area where they can follow your progress on our digital board using your patient ID.
