Our South County Health Express Care clinics, located in the East Greenwich, Warwick, and Westerly Medical & Wellness Centers, are here to accommodate your busy lifestyle. If you need medical treatment when Express Care is closed, please visit an emergency department.
Visit an Emergency Department or call 9-1-1 if you experience symptoms such as:
- Fainting or passing out
- Breathing difficulties
- Sudden, unusually severe headache
- Speech problems or trouble seeing, walking, or moving
- Sudden confusion
- Dizziness
- Sudden weakness
- Drooping on one side of the body
- Ingestion or inhalation of poisonous substances
- Severe bleeding
- Seizures
- Severe bone breaks
- Deep wounds and severe burns
- Coughing or throwing up blood
- Extreme pain
- Severe allergic reactions
- Very high fevers
- Persistent vomiting or diarrhea
- Overdoses
Always call 9-1-1:
- When someone is choking
- When a person stops breathing
- Head injuries involving confusion, fainting, and loss of consciousness
- An injury to the spine or neck, especially involving an inability to move or loss of feeling
- Lightning strike or electric shock
- Severe burns
- Severe chest pressure or pain
- Seizures lasting 3 to 5 minutes
Please note that co-pays are expected at the time of your visit. If you do require a higher level of care, you may be transported to an Emergency Department.
