Dr. Brian Cohen obtained his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, graduating with the highest honors, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He then completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency and Trauma Fellowship at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. In addition to his Trauma Fellowship, he completed an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Iowa. During his time in Iowa, he was a team physician for the University of Iowa Football team and all Hawkeye athletics.
Dr. Cohen is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in open and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle for active and sport-related injuries of all ages. He also has a special interest in young adult hip pain and hip arthroscopy.
When not practicing orthopedics, Dr. Cohen enjoys staying active, playing sports, traveling, and spending time with his wife and son.
